Valentine's Day Glamour Lounge

This small space pick of the week is a bit of a Valentine's Special. This 750 sq. ft. Madrid apartment has magnificent fabrics, and tons of visual impact. It's different, but that's what I love about it. The dusty purple sofa exudes charm and fills the room with sophistication and femininity. They've opened up the space with a gigantic mirror in the dining room and emphasized the hight ceilings with floor to ceiling fabric panels.

I usually don't gravitate toward whimsical designs, but maybe I'm just feeling the Valentine love in the air. Walk with me through this small glamour lounge.

P.S. The handles on the backs of the dining chairs a detail that is so kissable. It's all in the little details.

Weekend in Halifax...

Happy Monday All! After the week off, I am refreshed and inspired from my short trip. I decided, on the spur of a moment, to head off to Halifax for my birthday. I had never been before and am so glad that I went. The city is quaint and absolutely stunning. The building are beautiful and the architecture is rich as though filled with stories.

I had a lovely host; MaryBeth, a friend that I met by chance last summer. We explored places like Victoria Park, Peggy's Cove and visited a little antique shop, Rural Routes, in what seemed to be the middle of nowhere.

I got snowed in and my plane home got cancelled TWICE, but I can't complain about being stuck in such a gorgeous place. Definitely a city worth visiting. Here are timbits of my weekend away.

Hello All! I've missed you! I took some time off and went to Halifax for my birthday to relax and mentally recharge. The city is beautiful and filled with gorgeous architecture. I had a fabulous time and will share my trip with you some time this week. 

Returning from my trip, I was greeted with a birthday gift from my brother which I am absolutely adoring! The Kelvin.23. You may have seen this product on Dragon's Den, but if you haven't it is 'THE Swiss Army Knife of Tools'. 23 Tools packed into one compact hand held gadget!

I've been testing it out for the last couple of days and must say it really is ingenious. Not only is the obvious multi-functionality great but it is well designed. It is the perfect size (sleek and fits great in the female hand); ridiculously straight forward and easy to use; and the electric power pink just adds that extra bit of sas.

It's My Birthday

Good Morning All! Today is my birthday. 29 years of wondrous love and life. This birthday for me is a reflective one. I think back on my past and what I have experienced and smile at where it has brought me and who it has caused me to meet. I feel my present and sit in gratitude of the the Most High for the life he allows me to live today. I look to my future and beam with joy and love for the treasures of life that lay before me. This day I am thankful. I am loved and truly blessed
